A funeral for Barbara Ann Billing, 73, a Minden resident for the past 19 years, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Carson Valley.
Mrs. Billing died June 11, 2007, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born Aug. 31, 1933, in Hollywood, Calif., to Donald and Mary Helen Peters Barkley.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Arcadia, Calif.
She married William R. Billing.
Mrs. Billing was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, her garden and plants.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Among her survivors are her husband of Minden; son and daughter-in-law Bill Jr. and Pat of Carlsbad, Calif.; daughter Cynthia Serles of Arcadia; brother James Barkley of Las Vegas; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
