Four juveniles arrested for gang graffiti

Four juveniles were arrested following a report of graffiti in the 1700 block of North Carson Street just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Someone reported four Hispanic juveniles leaving the area, and deputies were able to locate the vehicle in the 1900 block of Molly. The youths stopped the vehicle and attempted to hide from the deputy, according to the Sheriff's Department.

One of the juveniles allegedly admitted to spraying over previous graffiti saying "Bambinos" and then painting "Tokers" next to it. Bambinos and the Eastwood Tokers are both active gangs with members in Carson City.

Two of the juveniles were arrested for curfew violation, one was arrested for curfew violation and graffiti. The fourth was arrested for minor consuming alcohol, curfew violation with charges for destruction of property pending, according to the sheriff's department.
