The Leap of Faith Dance Team performed on March 29th at the Thunderstruck Regional Dance Competition held at the Bob Boldrick Theater.
The dancers did well despite being the youngest competitors at the competition. Performing a character dance to the song "House on Pooh Corner" the dancers brought home a Gold Award and Eighth Place in the Small Group division.
The team consisted of Kaitlyn Brannon, Jordan Clements, Margaret Lewis, Kailey Olsen, and Kamille Soderstrom.
The dancers have only recently begun dancing and impressed their coach Steffany Walker.
"The girls were so excited," Walker said. "They couldn't wait to get on stage, and once they were on they did their dance wonderfully."
The dancers will next compete in the Dance USA Regional Competition in Reno at the end of May.
