There will be nearly 700 teams with 7,000 players in the tournament, which is the world's largest female sporting event. The event will be held Sunday, June 29 through July 3.

"College coaches from across the nation at all levels of play will be observing our players, which gives these girls phenomenal access to these programs," said Capital City Volleyball Club director Danny McLaughlin about the upcoming festival.

In fact, every Capital City Volleyball Club senior who has wanted to continue their careers by received a college scholarship has done so over the past two years.

"We see that as a big part of our responsibility; to help our players find schools that meet their academic and athletic goals," McLaughlin said.
