Andrew Meixner passed away on February 29,2008 at his home. Andy was born in Berwind, W. Va. on July 5,1930.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and US Air Force. Andy was with the Marines at Inchon Beach and Chosen Reservoir during the Korean War.
Andy is survived by his son, Derek Meixner of Carson City and
daughter, Rhonda Tuggle of Maynardville, Tenn. and his sister, Mary Ivey of Temple, Ga., six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, as well as, several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Mary and Andrew Meixner Sr., brothers, Joseph and Martin and sister, Gladys Black.
Andy will be interred at the Veteran's Cemetery in Fernley 3 p.m.
March 10, 2008.
