Galena's Babbitt named player of the year

Galena High's Luke Babbitt has been named as the Gatorade Nevada Player of the Year in boys basketball for the second straight year.

The University of Nevada bound Babbitt received the honor after averaging 31

points and 13 rebounds this season.

Babbitt has also been named as a McDonald's All-American and will play in the McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday, March 26. The game will be televised live at 5:30 p.m. On ESPN.
