A 26-year-old German woman on vacation in the United States, sustained multiple injuries Saturday upon landing from a skydiving jump in Minden, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
The woman, vacationing with her German boyfriend, was skydiving with Skydive Tahoe at the Minden Airport when the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m.
The woman was taken by care flight to Renown Medical Center where she remains in the intensive care with multiple injuries, according the the sheriff's office.
The German consulate in San Francisco has been notified of the accident.
