A Carson City man was jailed Wednesday night after his estranged wife allegedly discovered photographs of naked children on his laptop.

Kevin Richard Wilborn, 26, a South Reno restaurant manager, was booked into the Carson City Jail at 10:14 p.m. on two counts of suspicion of felony possession of child pornography.

According to the arrest report, Wilborn's wife left her husband on Friday. On Wednesday, accompanied by her parents, she went the Sherman Lane home she'd shared with her husband to pick up some items, including their 2-year-old daughter's social security card. Wilborn was not home at the time.

When she was unable to locate the social security card, she turned on the laptop to retrieve the number off the tax return documents that Wilborn had filed on there, the report states.

Unable to find the tax return, the wife did a computer search for the term, "IRS." The results allegedly included pornographic pictures involving 15-year-old teens, the report states. After that discovery, the wife allegedly did a search for the term "hot," and found more pornography with ages 12 and 13 in the titles.

A deputy recovered the laptop and located a list of 30 porn images.

"Two of the pictures included young girls that appeared to be no older than 10 years of age and in no way (did they) appear to be even close to 16 years of age," the report states.

Later in the evening, deputies contacted Wilborn at his home to question him about the contents of the laptop.

"Kevin told us he downloaded porn in bulk packages off of a server called 'Limewire' and then filters out the 'disturbing' pornography when age is questionable," the report states. He denied knowing there were images of anyone under 18 on the computer and allegedly told deputies he would search for "teen pornography."

Wilborn also allegedly told officers his neighbor also uses his computer.

Officers then questioned the neighbor who said that the previous evening, Wilborn allegedly showed him pictures and videos "of what he saw as underage child pornography."

The two charges for which Wilborn was arrested were for two photographs that allegedly depicted young children who appeared no older than 11 years old, the report states.

Wilborn's bail was set at $20,000.
