Newspaper unveils new format today

Welcome to the new Nevada Appeal.

Today we are debuting our new tabloid format. We hope you'll find it easier to use and enjoy the more colorful, vibrant design.

You'll find some new features, old favorites, and the return in each issue of the popular Dr. Gott, today on page 36.

The new format lets us put a stronger emphasis on local news. And for those concerned about sharing the paper with your significant other, we placed the Sports pages in the middle, where they can easily lift out and be carried separately to your favorite reading spot.

Check out the readers' guide inside today's issue, with a list of features and what days they appear. And be sure to peruse the many advertisements and coupons within the paper. You'll find more than $10,000 worth of savings from local merchants inside.

Also, as an introduction to the new format, this issue will be distributed to nearly all the homes in the area.
