Carson City and Lyon County sheriffs' Log 4-18

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

- Heidi Louise Vogelsang, 18, a Lyon County brothel worker from Carson City, was arrested at 4:05 a.m. Friday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a prescription drug without a prescription, misdemeanor drunken driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license, no proof of insurance and minor consuming alcohol. Bail was set at $8,102.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Report of several people, some with guns, drinking by the Old Mill off Deer Run Road at 1:14 a.m.

- An intoxicated man on I Street reported at 12:53 p.m. that he "detained a female he found making 'bongs' in his master bedroom.'"

- A clerk on South Carson Street reported at 4:56 p.m. that a customer asked for a $100 bill in exchange for five $20s. When the clerk gave the man the $100, the man left without giving the $20s.

- Report of jewelry, prescription drugs and cash missing from a home on Cumberland Court at 9:01 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

- Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 1:24 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 11:13 a.m.

- Misdemeanor arrest on Shadow Lane in Fernley at 4:52 p.m.

- Juveniles were stopped from stealing alcohol at the Dayton Smith's at 8:56 p.m.
