Irene Sieben, 77, of Carson City, died Dec. 5, 2009. She was born April 13, 1932, in Manchester, N.H. She was preceded in death by her husband John Sieben Sr. She is survived by her sons John F. Sieben Jr. of Genoa, Nev., Dennis Sieben of Carson City, James Sieben of Sand Point, Idaho, and Brian Sieben of Boise, Idaho; daughter Jane Sproull of Carson City; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Paul Lanoie of San Jose, Calif.; sisters, Louise Gang of Modesto, Calif., Edna Archambault of San Jose, and Simone Buckley of Auburn, Calif. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City. Burial will follow in Genoa Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City, is in charge of arrangements.
