Ordinance No. 48. No person or persons shall, or become an inmate of or visit or contribute to, the support of any place, house or room, where persons frequent, or assemble, for the purpose of smoking opium, and all such places, houses or rooms, are hereby declared to be nuisances. On conviction, punishment of a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment not more than fifty days, or by both fine and imprisonment. Attest, Alfred Helm, Clerk, Carson City, June 12, 1877.
