Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Liane Anderson, 41, a student from Carson City, was arrested at 7:48 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Bourgogne Street on suspicion of felony theft out of Douglas County. Bail was set at $1,500 cash.

• A 24-year-old unemployed transient was arrested at 4:50 a.m. Friday at Stewart and William streets on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace officer. Bail was set at $644.

• Armando Martinez-Gomez, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:05 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Pratt Street on suspicion of felony using false identification to avoid prosecution. Bail was set at $3,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A woman on Gordon Street reported at 4:59 a.m. hearing someone turning her doorknob from the outside. When police arrived, they located her estranged boyfriend trying to get into the home. A misdemeanor arrest was made.

• A woman reported at 2:03 p.m. that she was battered Saturday by her niece.

• Accident at Nye and East College Parkway at 3:20 p.m.

• A window was busted and a Louis Vuitton purse stolen from a vehicle parked at the Legislative Building at 4:26 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of juveniles fighting on Sam Clemens Drive in Mark Twain. The call originated in Storey County, but because of work being done on Six Mile Canyon Road, Lyon County responded.

• Report of a silver truck with a camper stolen from the 400 block of Truck Inn Way in Fernley at 10:20 a.m.

• Report of an attempted burglary overnight at the Grab-n-Go in Yerington at 10:27 a.m.

• Report of a tractor-trailer jackknifed on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 3:56 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A caller on Avenue De La Bleu reported his dog's "foot is stuck in his collar" at 11:58 a.m.

• Report of mail stolen from a mailbox on Rue De La Fauve at 11:41 a.m.

• Report of a bear going through garbage cans on Combination Road at midnight.
