Yesterday evening a man ran breathlessly into the sheriff's office and scarcely being able to articulate a sound said, "Well, vigilantes have been talked about of so long here, now you've got 'em. I saw a group of them walking up in the direction of Treadway's Park just now, and I believe they're on some mysterious business" (continued Wednesday)

The Carson City Water Company is considering the feasibility of installing water meters for their consumers. There is such an excessive waste through sewers and so much unnecessary sprinkling of lawns that an enormous waste is going on, which seriously effects the amount of supply.

To the collection of used cars on ground across the street west of Archie Pozzi's service station he has added two or three cars of the 40 and eight trains that ex-service men of Nevada towns enter in parades on special occasions. What Pozzi is going to do with his new collection nobody seems able to guess.
