Patient thanks those who helped while ill

On Feb. 14 and Feb. 18 I was taken to Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center by ambulance with life-threatening high potassium levels. I had cardiac arrest in ER.

I wish to thank everyone for their expertise, competency and compassion during my 6-day stay. I also had pneumonia.

From paramedics to the person who brought my dinner tray, the care was excellent. I always thought Carson Tahoe was the best, now I know it. My love to all of you.

Students, school benefit from fundraiser

A huge thank you to all the business donors who contributed to Bethlehem Lutheran's Spaghetti Dinner & Auction held March 5.

The fundraiser proceeds totaled more that $8,000. We are able install pavers in the student lunch area and put money into the playground equipment fund. Thank you again, we could not have done the event without your generous donations.
