Hilary Mendeguia is looking for a few great businessmen and women within in the community for the annual 8th grade students Career Study at Carson Middle School. The students have researched career options and created professional portfolios and are now ready to put their workplace communication skills to the test and she needs your professional help for JOB INTERVIEWS! These interviews allow the students to practice communication skills while preparing for the workforce. The goal is to make the interview experience as true to life as possible. The interviewer will ask a few questions and fill in a simple response sheet for each student. This is a fun and worthwhile way to assist local students.

PROM DRESSES

Do you have a prom, cocktail or bridesmaid dress sitting in your closet? I received an e-mail from local resident Nancy Cooper asking if she could donate a dress to a young lady to utilize for prom. We don't have Aly's Prom Closet but we do have some amazing nurses and counselors at Carson High School and Pioneer High that would be happy to accept those dresses. This year more then ever young teens need assistance to attend their prom. If you have dresses, accessories, nylons, free hairdos, flowers or can help purchase a ticket so a student can have a chance to attend their prom, call the schools below or drop off a dress or a shoe certificate. Anything will help.
