Weather for the Carson City area today will be sunny with highs 55-65 with light winds becoming east up to 10 mph in the afternoon.
Tonight, clear with lows 24-34 with light winds.
Saturday, sunny with highs around 70 with light winds becoming south around 10 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday, partly cloudy with a chance of showers in the morning. Highs 47-57 with north winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph in the morning.
The Nevada Department of Transportation reports at 5:37 a.m. all roads open with no controls.
Utility work continues on Little Lane between Saliman Road south Stewart Street, mainly between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with lane restrictions on Little Lane west of South Roop Street.
Utility work is also being done on North Roop Street from East John to Long streets, and on Corbett street, west of North Roop. Roop Street will be closed at Corbett Street from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 28.
Road work continues in Carson City with areas of delays, as with East Fifth Street from Saliman Road to Fairview Drive.
Work on Highway 50 in east Carson City and Mound House for the V&T continues with posted lower speed limits and narrow lanes just east of Flint Drive.
