What's closed for Memorial Day?

- State, federal and city offices and U.S. post offices.

- Western Nevada College campuses and learning centers in Carson City, Fallon, Minden, Fernley, Hawthorne, Lovelock, Smith Valley and Yerington.

- All Carson City, Douglas, Storey and Lyon county schools will be closed.

- The Carson City, Douglas County and Lyon County libraries will be closed.

- The Federal Reserve will be closed and many banks will follow the same schedule. Check your local branch.

- The Carson City Marriage Bureau will be closed.

- The Douglas County Marriage Bureau in Minden are on-call to issue licenses from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling 885-5995.

- The South Lake Tahoe Marriage Bureau at 175 Highway 50 West in South Lake Tahoe will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- The Carson City Sheriff's Department business offices will be closed. Officers will patrol as usual.

- Senior Centers in Carson City, Storey County, Dayton, Silver Springs and Douglas County will be closed.

- The Carson City, Douglas County and Lyon County libraries will be closed.

- Jump Around Carson public transportation will not be in service.
