Amber Alyse Wilson, 24, of Carson City was reunited with God on October 15, 2009.
Amber was born on December 1, 1984, in Carson City to Bruce Wilson and Julie Slocum. She attended schools and worked in Carson City.
Amber was an outgoing, fun-loving person with a zest for life and a heart of gold. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and being with her family and friends.
Amber is survived by her father and best friend, Bruce Wilson; mother, Julie Slocum, brothers Paul Wilson, Jason and Joshua De Rubertis; sister and best friend, Jessica Wood; grandparents, Robert and Julie Grayson and Barbara MacCarty, all of Carson City. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and close friends.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009, at the Capital Baptist Church, 4555 S. Edmonds Dr. with a reception following from 2-4 p.m. at the Sierra Room at the Plaza Hotel at 801 S. Carson Street.
Walton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
