Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 39-year-old Gardnerville man who claimed to be a retired three-star general was arrested at 4:46 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $1,239.

• A 38-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 9:51 p.m. Wednesday at Fall and William streets on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor being a drunken pedestrian.

• Charles Henry Gray, 51, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 10 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of felony bribing or intimidating a witness and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $15,615.

• Edgar Daniel Sarabia Rodriguez, 25, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $23,232.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of an intoxicated man attempting to hit a taxi driver in the 500 block of North Carson Street at 1:49 a.m.

• Accident involving a school bus and a sedan at Saliman Road and Robinson Street at 6:55 a.m. No children were on the bus. No injuries were reported.

• Coroner call in the 1300 block of Jewell Avenue at 8:28 a.m.

• Coroner call at 12:31 p.m. in the 600 block of South Roop Street.

• Report of a man threatening to plant a bomb in the 3200 block of Market Street at 2:20 p.m. No bomb located.

• Two juveniles were detained for shoplifting at Smith's at 6:55 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of illegal dumping in Mark Twain at 8:55 a.m.

• Report of illegal dumping on Fort Churchill Road in Mark Twain at 2:48 p.m.

• Felony arrest at 3:15 p.m. at Wal-Mart in Fernley at 3:15 p.m.
