Ellavee Muriel Phelps, 75, died at her home in Dayton June 28, 2009. She was born to Ella and Fred Wilson May 18, 1934, in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband, James, daughters Kelly (Eddie) Schittenhelm of Seward, Alaska, Kimberly (Jack) Rhodes of Vancouver, Wash., and Shannon (Wayne) Cooper of Silver Springs, Nev.; her mother, Ella Wilson of Lodi, Calif.; sister Vicki Strickland of Klamath Falls, Ore.; five granddaughters and three great-granddaughters. A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Virginia City with a reception to follow at the Masonic Lodge #7. FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
