Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Zackery B. Parker, 27, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 1:36 p.m. Sunday in the 1400 block of East Park Street on two felony counts of suspicion of burglary and assault. A caller reported at 1 p.m. that Parker was stumbling around, banging his head on fences and standing in the middle of Park Street howling. Before police arrived at the scene, he allegedly entered a garage and attempted to hit the tenant who chased him off, then allegedly entered a home, and was chased out by the homeowner. His bail was set at $25,000.

• Joshua Joseph Paul, 18, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:19 a.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Stafford Way on suspicion of four counts of felony burglary. He allegedly burglarized four vehicles, taking an iPod and a stereo face plate among other items, before a resident called police and he was stopped. The items were recovered. Bail was set at $25,000. Also arrested was a juvenile on similar charges.

• Aaron Michael Sharpe, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:59 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• Nicholas Benton Schroeder, 29, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 11:52 p.m. Saturday on College Parkway on suspicion of felony parole violation out of Tracy, Calif. No bail was set.

• Larry Roush, 48, of Denver, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. Saturday at Mills Park on suspicion of misdemeanor obtaining money under false pretenses and felony burglary. He allegedly gave a bank teller at Smith's five $20 bills and asked for a $100 bill. When the clerk gave him the $100, Roush allegedly turned around, then turned back and handed the clerk a $10, telling her she gave him $10 instead of $100. The clerk gave him $100 and Roush left. The manager caught up with him outside and retrieved the $100. Roush's bail was set at $25,000. Police suspect he may have done a similar scam at a casino earlier in the day.

• Brook Allan Kelley, 19, of Minden, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Accident at North Division and Sophia streets at 10:59 a.m.

• Report of eight juveniles fighting in the 1700 block of East Long Street at 2:20 p.m.

• A Walmart employee reported finding a 4-year-old boy at 8:25 p.m. At 8:40 p.m. a deputy called child protective services. At 8:51 p.m. the parent from a nearby apartment complex called dispatch looking for the child. At 9:23 p.m. the father met with child protective services at Walmart.

Sunday

• Fight report at 12:41 a.m. in the 300 block of North Carson Street.

• Fight report at 1:55 a.m. in the 800 block of South Roop Street.

• A woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting at 2:18 p.m. at Save Mart on Highway 50 East.

• A person reported at 2:40 p.m. finding a gun in a remote location off Timberline Road.

• A man reported his daughter's teenage friend was locked out of her home a week ago by her father. The man said the girl had been staying with his family.

• Accident at Imperial and Applegate ways at 6:59 p.m.

Saturday

• Report of bartenders and bouncers being overpowered at a bar fight in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East at 2:01 a.m.

• Report of tools, curtains and other items stolen from a vacant house on Hot Springs Road.

Arson report in the 2800 block of Lovelace Way at 8:38 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

Monday

• Report of a man beating a woman on Bogie Court in Fernley at 12:08 a.m.

• A woman reported that her daughter was being harassed as she walks to and from the school bus on Canal Drive in Fernley.

Sunday

• Felony arrest on Main Street in Silver City at 8:12 a.m.

• A bicycle was reported stolen at 5:10 p.m. from a garage on Johns Circle in Fernley.

• Report of a truck intentionally swerving toward children on Ramsey Street in Silver Springs at 6:31 p.m.
