Esther Bernice Pings, 99, of Carson City, died April 8, 2010. She was born on April 17, 1910, in Boone County, Ark., to Edward G and Rose (Elliott) Hoffman. She is survived by her sons Donald Britton of Incline Village, and Ronald Britton of Evergreen, Colo.; sister Maxine Shoup of Pratt, Kan.; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews. Autumn Funerals and Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
