Obituary: Denver Fox

Denver Fox, a former Carson City resident, died Aug. 26, 2010, in Sacramento, Calif. He was born June 13, 1921, in Wister, Okla. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucille Fox. He left behind five children, Don Fox, Deanna Kennedy, Debbie Malchow, Daryl Fox and Dale Fox; seven grandchildren, Laura Fox, Rodney Fox, Jeffrey Fox, Brian Malchow, Amber Johnston, Shannon Fox and Kristopher Fox; eight great-grandchildren; brother Ed Fox and numerous nieces and nephews. Denver was an amazing loving Father, Papa and Great Papa. He will be missed by all who crossed his path. Denver loved the Giants, A's, Kings and 49ers, but his greatest love of all was his faith in God. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, 8201 Greenback, Fair Oaks, CA 95628.
