WNC Foundation recognizes locals who support scholarships

Western Nevada College awards thousands of dollars each semester to students who qualify for grants, or who apply for and receive scholarships. For the 2010-2011 academic year, Western awarded 140 scholarships totaling $136,880. The WNC Foundation, with the support of community donors, awarded 132 of these scholarships totaling $125,880.

The WNC Foundation wishes to recognize those who helped support scholarships for students attending the college this school year. Their generosity makes a difference to not only the students, but also the community.
