Kenneth E. Stieha was a farm boy born in Amherst, S.D., son to Joe and Gladys Stieha.
After duty in the Navy, he graduated from Black Hills State with a degree in business and economics and a minor in social science. He met Rose Paradis on a blind date and they were married for 56 years. He was an entrepreneur having owned and operated several different enterprises.
He was a kind an compassionate man who dearly loved his family. He leaves his wife Rose; son Kenneth; daughter Pamela; sister Joyce; grandchildren Jenny Harvey, Janet Stieha, Greg Stieha, Gary Kandt, and Karen Stieha; as well as seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Vincent De Paul Society.
Funeral Mass well be at 10 a.m. Dec. 29, at St. Teresa of Avila Chapel, in Carson City.
