Obituary: Edward Kruse

Edward Kruse, 91, died at home in Reno on February 10, 2010. A former Carson City resident, he was born March 31, 1918, in Fresno, Calif., to Katherine (Conyers) and George Kruse. He is survived by his daughter Rae Engelhardt (Roy) of Carson City; and his son Thomas E. Kruse (Laura) of Washoe Valley; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. A memorial wake will be from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28 at the Good-to-Go Pizza Deli, 3235 Eastlake Blvd., East Washoe Valley. Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation & Burial Society.
