Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Justin Lauderdale, 33, a casino worker from Sparks, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Friday at Fairview and Steamboat drives on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $3,232.

• Daniel Jones, 31, was arrested at 2:19 a.m. Friday in the 800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery on a peace officer. Bail was set at $2,500.

• A 25-year-old unemployed Dayton man was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Friday at Highway 50 East and Sherman Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear and driving on a revoked license. Bail was set at $1,471.

• A 21-year-old grocery store worker from Carson City was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Thursday on Bullion Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report at 1:52 a.m. of an attempted break-in at Mario's Auto Repair in the 1800 block of North Carson Street.

• Three female Carson Middle School students reported at 10:26 a.m. that three men in a white truck followed them to the bus stop and tried to lure them into the vehicle. The girls refused and told their principal.

• A student was arrested at Carson High School at 11:01 a.m. after trying to force his ex-girlfriend to leave school grounds with him. Other students and staff intervened. The girl was unharmed.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 95 Alternate in Fernley at 3:58 a.m.

• Report of two Fernley High students caught in possession of drugs at 7:54 a.m.

• Report of a "scruffy" man walking up and down Stagecoach Drive asking people for work at 3:25 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of wild horses on Peri Ranch Road at 9:05 a.m.

• Report at 11:17 a.m. on Avenue De La D'Emerald of five horses in the front yard of a home. The homeowner requested the horses be moved.

• Report at 3:42 p.m. of "big boulders" in the road on State Route 341 at Cartwright Road.
