Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 56-year-old doctor from Carson City was arrested at 6:53 p.m. Wednesday at College Parkway and North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and following too closely. Bail was set at $1,274.

• John Emmanuel Lara, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at Roop and Robinson streets on suspicion of felony domestic battery. Bail was set at $20,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 8:54 a.m. of a plane hangar at the airport broken into overnight.

• Vehicle burglary report in the 1700 block of Brown Street at 11:12 a.m.

• Report of an ex-employee stealing a company phone on Morgan Mill Road.

• A woman on Woodside Drive reported at 9:52 p.m. that someone broke into her home, stole her checkbook and credit cards and used her phone to order $10,000 in jewelry.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of money and tools stolen from a home Monday on Ring Road.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Dallas Lane in Fernley at 8:27 p.m.

• Coroner call in the 7000 block of Frontage Road in Mark Twain at

9:20 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A woman on Tom Sawyer Way reported at 8:17 a.m. that her house was egged overnight.

• A caller reported seeing a deer jump from a bridge on Tunnel Road and land, injured, on the railroad tracks below at 8:56 a.m.

• A woman on Wagon Wheel reported at 2:42 p.m. that her house had been egged.
