Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kassie Kristine Herling, 42, unemployed of Gardnerville, was arrested at 7:57 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $3,632.

• Timothy Allen Christensen, 40, a laborer from Gardnerville, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear on a bad check charge from Humboldt County and misdemeanor violation of a bail conditions. No bail was set.

• Jesse Salazar, 31, a taxi worker from Carson City, was arrested at 2:26 p.m. Monday in the 2000 block of Lone Mountain Drive on suspicion of felony burglary, possession of stolen property and probation violation. He and Jordan Burkhardt, 20, also of Carson City, allegedly took mirrors off the wall at Toad's Bar, then while Salazar faked a fall to get the bartender's attention, Burkhardt carried the mirrors outside and put them in a vehicle. The incident was captured on surveillance, according to the arrest report. No bail was set for Salazar. Burkhardt was booked on suspicion of felony burglary and misdemeanor probation violation. His bail was set at $5,500.

• Jeffrey John Fox, 41, a satellite technician from Carson City, was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Monday on two Dupage County, Ill., warrants for suspicion of felony forgery and fraudulent use of a credit card. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Ashley Michelle Cole, 19, of Dayton, was arrested Saturday at 6:15 p.m. at Walmart on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child neglect and endangerment and misdemeanor petty larceny. Cole allegedly stuffed stolen goods into her newborn daughter's diaper bag. "Ashley used her 7-week-old infant daughter and her infant bag during the commission of the crime. Ashley showed no regard for her infant's safety or security during the commission of the crime," the police report states. The baby was turned over to Child Protective Services. Cole's bail was set at $2,847.

• Johnny Maes, 35, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. Sunday at Fifth Street and Butti Way on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

• Christopher John Aiello, 32, of Dayton was arrested at 3:18 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Rand Avenue on a Lyon County warrant for burglary and possession of stolen property. Aiello also was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $28,232.

• William Cone, 54, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Monday on suspicion of destruction of property at the Carson City Court House. Cone was allegedly spotted puncturing the tires of two Washoe Tribal patrol cars. He said he was upset with the government, according to arrest report. Bail was set at $1,479.

• Stanley Edward Ace, 58, of Silver Springs was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Friday at Fairview and Edmonds drives on suspicion of two counts of gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to maintain a single lane. He had allegedly driven from Silver Springs to pick up his teen daughter and her friend in Carson. A preliminary breath test indicated his blood alcohol content was .177. Bail was set at $6,239.

• Andrew Peter Pascual, 20, unemployed of Carson City; was arrested at 2:24 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $23,000. Also arrested was Kevin Dustin Durham, 19, unemployed of Yerington, on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and Elise Delane Hinsen, 18, of Carson City, on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine. Bail for Hinsen and Durham was set at $2,500 each.

• Joshua Ryan Grow, 28, of Carson City was arrested at 10 a.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony domestic battery and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Grow allegedly choked his girlfriend during a dispute, raising the level of the domestic battery to a felony, after she caught him smoking methamphetamine, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $16,132.

• A 48-year-old transient woman was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of three counts of misdemeanor assault. The woman was spotted by a deputy allegedly throwing rocks at a man and two women demonstrating in front of the Capitol building. The woman then allegedly confronted three other people ripping the signs from their hands and cursing at them. According to the arrest report, the suspect was accusing the demonstrators of being racist. Bail was set at $1,896.

• Geoffrey Allan Merrow, 51, of Turlock, Calif., was arrested at 9:51 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, misdemeanor driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and failure to maintain a single lane. Bail was set at $6,965.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Fight report in the 300 block of East William Street at 1:04 a.m.

• Report of squatters living in a business' motor home in the 4500 block of Oak Street at 1 p.m. The caller reported the man and woman were using the motor home's generator and cooking food at the time they were discovered. The couple fled.

• Accident at Roop Street and Industrial Park Drive at 1:26 p.m.

• Report of a fight between three people, one armed with a knife, at 2:29 p.m. in the 4700 block of South Carson Street.

• Citation given to a beachgoer at Secret Harbor for having a glass container on the beach at 3:38 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Felony arrest on Highway 338 in Smith Valley at 3:06 a.m.

• A tenant on Lois Lane in Fernley reported finding "death threats all over his yard," at 8:45 a.m.

• Robbery report on Citrus Street in Silver Springs at 6:02 p.m.
