Obituary: Mary Pauline

Mary Pauline , the daughter of Russell May and Pearl Pancake, was born August 4, 1928, and answered her Master's call at Carson Tahoe Hospital, Carson City around 6:28 p.m. March 28, 2010, at the age of 81 years.  Mary was the first of 12 children. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by five children, Rusty Van Gieson of Florida, Larry Van Gieson of Idaho, Debbie Van Gieson of Nevada, Regina Marks and Dave Vallino of Arizona. She loved going to church and taking her children and grandchildren. Her family was her life. On March 15, 2010, Mary was stricken with sickness and there was no more that human hands could do. If God seems to call her home, as she often said while she was sick, she was ready. 

Mother was tired and weary, weary with tears and pain. Into sweet life she has entered no more to sorrow again. Years will glide o'er her gently. Facing the shadows so deep. Drive back the tears would you waker her, for Mother has fallen asleep.
