Obituary: Pauline Marie Letizia

Pauline Marie Letizia from Carson City passed away on Nov. 21, 2012 at the age of 88. Pauline was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wis. on Feb. 5, 1924. She married Louis Letizia in 1945 and moved to Calif. They raised two children. In 1976 they moved to Carson City and were involved with their church, St. Teresa of Avila. Pauline and Louis opened a deli called "Luigi's" which was in business for 14 years.

She belonged to St. Ann's Guild and attended a weekly bible study. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, watching TV and playing with her grandkids and great grandson.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Louis who passed away in 1997.

She is survived by a son, Dominic (Arlene) Letizia and a daughter, Mary (Bill) Niederer; four grandchildren, Karl (Kelly) Niederer ,Tim Niederer, Teresa Niederer and Michael Letizia; one great grandson, Eljai and numerous nieces and nephews from Wis.

and Las Vegas.

There will be a visitation Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila Cathoilc Church then a Rosary beginning at 12:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 1 p.m. also at St. Teresa's. Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens cemetery.
