Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Nicholas Layton Munoz, 42, a transient, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Carson City Jail on suspicion of felony prisoner with a controlled substance. Bail was set at $7,500.

• A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 11:04 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing police. Bail was set at $644. His 23-year-old brother was also arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $344.

• Jose Quijas-Lomeli, also known as Abraham J. Quijas and Jose Rodrigues, 57, a roofer from Carson City, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Thursday at Desatoya and Fairview drives on suspicion of being a deported ex-felon, misdemeanor failure to stop at a stop sign, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle and drunken driving. He was allegedly deported after being convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and false imprisonment. The jurisdiction of those offenses was not available. He is being held by immigration without bail.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Residential burglary report on College Parkway at 11:19 a.m.

• A shoplifter was arrested at Walmart at 12:12 p.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest at Carson Middle School at 12:46 p.m.

• Two-vehicle accident at 12:58 p.m. at Basque Way and Roop Street.

• Report of a laptop computer stolen from the Bristlecone Building at Western Nevada College at 2:21 p.m.

• Accident at 3:24 p.m. at Fairview Drive and Saliman Road.

• A woman on Silver Oak Drive reported at 11:05 p.m. her neighbor busted in her door and said he wanted to commit suicide. He was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor destruction of property.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A woman on Ring Road in Mark Twain reported at 7:51 a.m. she was arguing with her husband and he locked her out of the house.

• A Smith Valley woman reported at 12:37 p.m. she was afraid of her ex-husband and he was walking around in the hills by her house.

• Report at 3:35 p.m. of gasoline being stolen from a Mason Valley dairy.
