CourtesyCarson High School sweethearts Carmeron Pier and Brittany Jones were wed Aug. 14.
Brittany Rae Jones and Cameron Mitchell Pier were married Aug. 14, 2010, in Carson City with Judge Roby Willis officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Keyna (Timmerman) Jones of Yerington. Brittany is a client services representative and student at the University of Nevada, Reno. She will graduate in December with a general studies degree with a focus in criminal justice and a minor in substance abuse treatment.
The groom is the son of Mitchell and Nancy Pier of Carson City. Cameron works for the Carson City Public Works Department. He studied at Western Nevada College and Truckee Meadows Community College.
The high school sweethearts met in Mr. Macy's English class at Carson High School when Cameron peeked over Brittany's shoulder to copy her answers. They graduated in 1994.
The couple reside in Carson City.
