Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 47-year-old unemployed man from Sacramento was arrested at 11:03 a.m. Thursday at Roop Street and Fairview Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $966.

• A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 10:53 a.m. Thursday on Green Court on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Steven Joseph Leonard, 45, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of Gambrel Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor misuse of 911 and violation of a protection order. Bail was set at $3,632.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a woman screaming "get off of me" at a complex on College Parkway at 6:56 a.m.

• Report of four young children, ranging in ages from 14 months to 4 years old, outside unsupervised for at least 20 minutes on Silver Oak Drive.

• Report of a trailer burglarized and tires stolen off another vehicle in 4800 block of Hytech Drive at 12:31 p.m.

• Report at 6:03 p.m. of an older lady swearing at children and blocking a sidewalk on Castle Way.

• A man reported someone threw a television at his wife on East Long Street at 8:29 p.m.

• A business reported $18 was missing after an employee was terminated.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of a county vehicle striking a pickup on Main Street in Fernley at 9:45 p.m.

• A Silver Springs man reported his neighbor threatened to shoot him and burn his house down at 11:10 a.m.

• Arrest on Lahontan Drive in Silver Springs at 2:18 p.m.

• Felony arrest on Graham Avenue in Silver Springs at 6:49 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• Report at 1:39 p.m. of a student at Virginia City High having difficulty breathing after being hit in the chest Wednesday.

• Caller at 4:26 p.m. reported spotting a person drinking a beer while driving on Six Mile Canyon Road Wednesday.
