A 2-year-old girl abducted from Idaho on Monday night has been spotted in New Mexico. An Amber Alert was issued for Nevada on Tuesday, but is now canceled.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol and AmberAlert.com, the girl's mother Georginia Sandoval came from out of state and took the child in the middle of the night from Nampa, Idaho.
She was possibly headed to Four Corners area (NM/CO/UT/AZ).
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Chuck Allen said it was believed that Sandoval may have driven through Nevada.
She has made suicidal threats to father and is a known drug user.
Anyone with information about the incident or the whereabouts of Catelyn or Gerogina Sandoval is urged to call 911 or the Nampa Police Department at (208) 465-2257.
According to the Idaho Press Tribune, Catelyn Sandoval is described as being a 2-year-old Native American female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands about 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. Catelyn has a bump on her forehead. She has a light complexion and is possibly wearing a green sundress.
The suspect, Gerogina Sandoval, is described as being a Native American female with dark-black hair and brown eyes. She weighs about 170 pounds and is 5 feet, 7 inches tall. Her hair is cut in a short "bob-style" cut. No clothing description was available.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a blue 2007 Chevrolet Malibu four-door with a New Mexico license plate with an unknown number.
