Service looks at living

in the name God

Western Nevadans are invited to learn how to live in the name of God at a worship service sponsored by Eckankar, Religion of LIght and Sound of God. The service is at 10 a.m. April 16 at the Carson City Community Center, Roop and Williams streets. Carson City, April 16.

During this free one-hour worship service, a skilled facilitator will give a brief talk, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and a short contemplation.

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School's open enrollment for kindergarten through eighth grades, as well as the preschool and pre-kindergarten begins April 18. Lutheran school

enrollment continues

Bethlehem Lutheran School is conducting open enrollment until May 2. The school is currently enrolling students in preschool through 8th grade for the 2011-2012 school year. St. Gall offers 'Praying

the Labyrinth'

St. Gall Catholic Church invites all to experience "Praying the Labyrinth" in observance of the Lenten period before Easter. The labyrinth will be open April 15-20 at various times.

The labyrinth is a fusion of the ancient and the modern, of prayer, contemplation, encounter and self-discovery. Unlike a maze, a labyrinth has only one path-there are no dead ends.
