Carson City builder to renovate Reno bank

Shaheen Beuachamp Builders LLC has been awarded the contract to renovate Umpqua Bank banking center at 3490 S. Virginia St. in Reno.

Shaheen Beuachamp Builders won the bid against seven other general contractors.

"We were privileged to be chosen by Umpqua Bank," said Mark Beauchamp, Shaheen Beauchamp co-owner. "We understand that this will be only the second branch completed with the new Umpqua Bank design."

The project will include remodeling the building's interior to create a full-service branch at the location, adding about 2,000 square feet to the building, and will include building new facades and installing new exterior finishes.

Shaheen Beauchamp has done work for several other financial institutions. It is also building two medical office clinics in Carson City and doing tenant improvement for a new Italian restaurant in south Reno.
