Carson City Sheriff's Log Dec. 23

The following people were booked into the Carson City jail. All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty in court:

• Anthony Wygant-Woolery, 43, of Carson City was taken into custody at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday after a background check during a traffic stop on East Long revealed a warrant on a possession of controlled substance charge. He was being held without bail.

• Billy Campini, 39, was jailed after a traffic stop at Carson and Corbett Streets at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was being held in lieu of $10,000 bail on a felony warrant issued in Placerville, Calif.

• A Carson City woman was arrested on battery charges after a 2:30 a.m. Thursday altercation outside a downtown bar. She was held in lieu of $1,000 bail after reportedly kicking the bartender in the face while he and the man she was with were on the ground. She was also charged with failure to appear on traffic charges in Reno.

• Gary Chandler, 47, of Anaheim, Calif., was jailed on a warrant charging desertion of child support at 10 a.m. Thursday. He turned himself in. His bail was set at $20,000.
