At a time when New Year's resolutions to improve health may be waning, Carson Valley Medical Center has introduced the Carson Valley Family Challenge to motivate residents and their families to keep health their top priority.
The medical center will be selecting one family for a health makeover that includes complete health assessments, free gym membership, professional fitness training, and a cash prize.
Submit your family's story on the hospital's website at www.cvmchospital.org/family by Feb. 27.
"We are encouraging local families to submit their story and tell us why a health makeover would help their family. There is an obvious benefit to the selected family, but by sharing their story and their successes through the process, others will hopefully be inspired to make healthier choices in their lives," said Shannon Albert, CVMC director of marketing.
