Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Ryatt D. Erickson, 38, of Carson City, was arrested at 10:49 p.m. Tuesday at Long and Nevada streets on suspicion of felony trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000.

• Mazio Lee Larry, 34, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday on College Parkway on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, gross misdemeanor child endangerment, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• A Carson High student was suspended Tuesday for allegedly forming his fingers into a gun and loudly saying "pop, pop, pop" during nutrition break. He also allegedly went behind a girl at a table, put his finger to her head and said, "pop."

• A window was broken and a wallet stolen on a truck parked overnight in the 400 block of Adaline Street.

• Coroner call in the 500 block of North Stewart Street at 11:08 a.m.

• Coroner call in the 4000 block of Tara Street at 3:55 p.m.

• A man was arrested after allegedly stealing a toy from a Highway 50 East grocery store.


Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:

• Report at 10:26 a.m. of a gate cut and copper wire stolen from the 100 block of Birch Street in Mason Valley.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Eighth Street in Silver Springs at 8:34 a.m.
