Mervin Eugene Mieure, 90, died June 21, 2011, in Reno. He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Bridgeport, Ill., to Garl and Myrtle Mieure. Mervin was preceded in death by his wife, Earline. He is survived by two sons, Ronald and Steven. Two brothers, Donald and Lee and one sister, Elsie Pelham. Fifteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. There will be a Graveside service with Military Honors for Mervin Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Minden. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
