Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Richard Scott Lipke, 50, unemployed of Reno, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of College Parkway on felony warrants from Sparks and Placer County. Police contacted him after he allegedly stole a car seat from outside an East Park Street preschool. An hour earlier, an employee of the preschool spotted the suspect vehicle (a pickup with a stroller attached to the roof) parked outside a College Parkway restaurant. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 1:26 a.m. - Man reported finding a burglar in his vehicle in the 1300 block of North Lompa Lane. The burglar fled and dropped a cellphone as he ran.

• 12:04 p.m. - Report of trees broken and soccer goals bent at Edmonds Sports Complex.

• 2:56 p.m. - A silver 2005 Toyota Tundra with a camper shell was reported stolen from the parking lot of Smith's less than a half-hour earlier.

• 3:23 p.m. - Vehicle burglary report in the 500 block of Buzzys Ranch Road.

• 7:28 p.m. - Accident at North Carson and Robinson streets.

• 10:38 p.m. - Report of a woman throwing trash can lids and yelling outside Del Taco on College Parkway. Misdemeanor arrest made.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• 6:44 a.m. - Coroner call in the 100 block of Diamond Way in Fernley.

• 12:55 p.m. - Report of intoxicated man trying to get into a Magnetic Way house in Mark Twain.

• 4:21 p.m. - Misdemeanor arrest in the 300 block of Stillwater Drive in Dayton.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• 2:31 p.m. Tuesday - Arrest on USA Parkway.
