Patricia M. Barrett passed away on December 31, 2011. She was born in Mason, Nevada to George and Lila McCutcheon on November 24, 1919. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Barrett; sons, George Williams (Melanie) of Indio, California, James Thomas Williams (Sharon) of Auburn, California and her daughter, Lila Tuohy (Donald) of Carson City. She was a grandmother of five and a great-grandmother of six.

Patty came to Carson City at 16 and worked at the Arlington Hotel kitchen. She was a legal secretary for many years and enjoyed being part of Paul Laxalt's administrative team when he was governor of Nevada. After retirement she followed her dream and opened her own successful Real Estate office. Patty was the broker/owner of Sierra Land Realty for over thirty years. Patty loved Nevada, her friends, family and all of her "kids." Patty was known for her "can do" attitude and did not accept negativity.

To know Patty was to love her, she knew no strangers and loved unconditionally. Although her earthly body is no longer with us her "sparky" spirit lives on. She will be greatly missed by all. Please join us for a celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 1:00pm at Walton's Chapel of the Valley, 1281 N. Roop Street, Carson City, NV 89706.
