Raymond passed away peacefully June 21, 2012, at the age of 73, after visits from his lifelong friends and the constant vigil of his sister, Linda McCracken.

He was proceeded in death by and was the beloved son of Mary and Silbert Filicchi and his aunt, Vera Petri. He was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the company of his friends.

He moved to Carson City where he could be close to nature and enjoy his other hobby, playing cards.

Thanks to his special friend Julie Sandoval for her loving care all these years and the Hays family for saving his life and doing everything they could to support him and his family.

He is survived by his son, Antonio; daughter Cindi; Dan & Eleanor Valentine; grandchildren, nephews and cousins.

He was a good cook, a great storyteller and was always quick with a good joke. We will miss his upbeat attitude and infectious laugh. At his request there will be no serviceand his ashes will be spread in the Topaz area where he would like his friends and family to enjoy his memory and the beauty of the area he loved so much.
