Lunch menus for the week of July 16 subject to change without notice. Choice of beverage included.


Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Dr.:

MONDAY: Beef stroganoff over pasta, mixed veggies, dinner roll with margarine, and fruit salad.

TUESDAY: Egg salad sandwich, coleslaw, carrot and celery sticks, strawberries, bananas, and ice cream.

WEDNESDAY: Pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, broccoli ranch, salad, and peaches.

THURSDAY: Seafood Louie salad, crackers, cantaloupe, tomato juice, and poke cake.

FRIDAY: Lasagna, zucchini, apricots, and French bread with margarine.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Baked fish, coleslaw, stewed tomatoes, whole wheat bread with margarine, bananas, and apple crisp.

TUESDAY: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, spinach, oranges, whole wheat roll, and cake.

WEDNESDAY: Turkey bean soup, peanut butter and banana sandwich, chopped spinach, creamy Italian dressing, and cantaloupe.

THURSDAY: Stuffed cabbage casserole, mixed veggies, whole wheat roll with margarine, and spiced pears.

FRIDAY: Barbecued hamburgers, potato salad, green beans, watermelon, and cake and ice cream.


Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Liver and onions or Salisbury steak, au gratin potatoes, beet and onion salad, spinach, and ice cream sandwich.

TUESDAY: Herb baked chicken, baked potato, sour cream and chives, herbed vegetable medley, whole wheat bread with peach butter, and apples.

WEDNESDAY: Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, red onion, and pickles, potato chips, watermelon, and cupcakes.

THURSDAY: Swedish meatballs over egg noodles, marinated tomato, dinner roll, vegetable blend, diced pears, and cookies.

FRIDAY: Hot pastrami and Swiss cheese sandwich, Sun Chips, cottage cheese and fruit, V-8 juice, and cookies.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Beef nacho casserole, Spanish rice, frijoles charros, spinach salad, oranges, plumbs, and pineapple juice.

TUESDAY: Roast pork, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, whole wheat bread with margarine, and applesauce.

WEDNESDAY: Baked breaded chicken, gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, garden salad, 7 grain bread, apricots, and oatmeal cookies.

THURSDAY: Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad with Italian dressing, and ambrosia.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: French toast, bacon, syrup, and watermelon.


Yerington Senior Center, 117 Tilson Way:

MONDAY: Malibu chicken Tater Tots and vegetable coleslaw

TUESDAY: Pork roast, red potatoes, mixed veggies, garden salad with ranch dressing, peaches, and gingerbread.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken cordon blue, rice pilaf, vegetable salad, roll, and ice cream sundae.

THURSDAY: Chicken enchilada casserole, Spanish rice, and chips and salsa.

FRIDAY: Turkey stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable salad, cranberry sauce, and roll.
