The Fallon Ranch Hand Rodeo culminated with several impressive performances during last week’s Churchill County Fair at the fairgrounds.

The rodeo along with bull and bronc riding, has grown over the past three years and this year’s event was no different.

Lee Stockhorses and Quarter Circle won the men’s and women’s team titles, respectively. Leading the way for Lee Stockhorses were Flint Lee, Kenny Lee, Cowboy Rodriguez and Lorenzo Polanco. For Quarter Circle, Bea Venable, Tammy Lee, Blake Portman and Georgia Black earned the top prize.

As for the rest of the men’s field, Z Hanging X Cattle Co. (Jimmy Lee, Bobby Williams, Guy Norcutt and Darrel Norcutt) placed second followed by Nuttal Livestock (Logan Nutall, Jessie Nuttall, Tyson Torrick and Joe Claret) and Crack a Cold (Trevor Carrasco, Chase Wortman, Lance Johnson and Justin Johnson).

J.D. Thacker won the men’s working ranch horse, while Jimmy Lynn Schacht took first in the women’s division.

In the women’s steer wrestling competition, Black took the top spot followed by Marisa Julian, Ally Sceirine and Jane Capurro.
