Obituary: Dale Oscar & Donene Grace Sowers

Dale Oscar Sowers passed away March 25, 2011. He was born January 9, 1931 in Colby, KS. To Wayne & Lillian (Keck) Sowers. He was raised by his grandmother Martha Keck in Colorado & later moved to Phoenix where he married Donene (Accerson) Sowers. After relocating to Reno, he worked for many years for George Hamilton at Hamilton Opticians. His home was in Lemmon Valley, where he raised registered quarter horses.Donene Grace Sowers long time resident of Reno Passed away Monday Feb. 18, 2013 in Carson City, NV. She was born July 13, 1934 in Rocks Springs, WY to Leonard & Evelyn (Sturman) Accerson. Later she moved to Arizona where she graduated from North Phoenix High School. After moving to Reno she worked for many years for Dr. Mortimer Falk & was a former member of Truckee Meadows Dog Training Club. Dale & Donene are survived by daughter Lillian Carrier, 5 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. In keeping with their wishes, there will be no services
