Runners delight

Fallon was well represented in the annual Reno-Tahoe Odyssey last weekend.

Five teams competed in the endurance run, which takes participants on a 178-mile loop from Reno around Lake Tahoe through Genoa and Virginia City back to Reno.

The Fallon team of Victory is Hours finished 25th overall with a time of 23 hours, 39 minutes, 56 seconds. Runny Bums of Reno won the relay race with a mark of 17:39:09. Victory is Hours placed third in the club mixed division.

Also representing Fallon were Swollen Nomadic Relentless, who placed 36th with a time of 24:16:02. They also finished 12th overall in the open men’s division.

The team of TBASN placed 79th overall (26:13:02) and 31st in the open mixed division.

GQ: Brace 4 Shock placed 221st overall, (29:29:54) and ninth in the corporate men’s division.

Krazy Kaia Chikas, meanwhile, took 246th overall (30:54.59) and fifth in the club women’s division.
