Two Greenwave football teams remained unbeaten in the Sierra Youth Football League.

The Greenwave, though, had a tough time as a program against the Hawks, going 1-4.

The Collegiate team, though, was the only other Fallon squad to pick up a win as the Greenwave won their first game of the season with a 41-6 victory against Yerington. Fallon is now 1-2.

In the Bandits and Freshman divisions, Hug defeated both Fallon teams by the same score, 33-0. The Fallon Bandits dropped to 1-3 on the season while the Freshman club is 1-2.

The Fallon Mavericks lost their first game of the season, 19-12, against the Hawks to drop to 3-1.

The Greenwave returns to the Reno area for the fifth week of the season.

The Bandits (10 a.m.), Renegades (2 p.m.), Junior Varsity (4 p.m.) and Collegiate (6 p.m.) teams will face Wooster at the Colts’ home field. The Greenwave will play against the Panthers at North Valleys High School at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. for the Freshman and Varsity divisions.
